What have you done for me lately?

In the case of Robert DeNiro, not much. America's greatest living actor hasn't appeared in a decent movie since "Wag the Dog" in '97 (which wasn't that great). But it was better than anything he's been in since:

Hide and Seek (2005)
Meet the Fockers (2004)
Shark Tale (2004) (voice)
Analyze That (2002)
City by the Sea (2002)
Showtime (2002)
The Score (2001)
15 Minutes (2001)
Meet the Parents (2000)
Men of Honor (2000)
The Adventures of Rocky & Bullwinkle (2000)
Flawless (1999)
Analyze This (1999)

And that's leaving out the "American Express" ad he recently made. The actor I remember as Travis Bickle, Rupert Pupkin and Jake LaMotta is known to succeeding generations as the guy who played Ben Stiller's father-in-law. While it's fair to say there aren't as many quality movies being produced today, it's also fair to say that DeNiro could be a bit more picky about his work. Sad to see a legend denigrate into just another hack.
