Kidnapped American journalist Jill Carroll appeared in a video aired Thursday on a private Kuwaiti TV channel appealing for her supporters to do whatever it takes to win her release.
In the video, Carroll said the date was Feb. 2.
"I am here. I am fine. Please just do whatever they want, give them whatever they want as quickly as possible," she said. She wore a veil and appeared composed, speaking in a strong voice.
The media's short-term memory has put this story on the backburner, and the Malcontent doesn't wish to be complicit. Godspeed to a truly brave woman.
