Losing her base?

Like most observers, I've penciled in Hillary Clinton as the likely Democratic nominee for president in 2008. But her support for the war in Iraq may be costing her votes:

"I find Hillary Clinton to be a great disappointment," actress Susan Sarandon said in the interview, which appears in this month's issue.

"She seems to be a very bright woman. I've met her. But she's lost her progressive following because of her caution and centrist approach. It bothered me when she voted for the war."

I don't know about you, but I'd follow Susan Sarandon through the thickest wall (what's the correct response here: J.K., or :) ... ?
