Spotted some middle-aged suburbanites out on the town last night, dressed well beneath their years. I was reminded me of Joe Gillis' rebuke of aging actress Norma Desmond in "Sunset Boulevard":
"There's nothing tragic about being 50. Not unless you're trying to be 25."
